Susan mainly paints with acrylics, but also uses mixed media and collage. She produces original prints and cards.
Susan has always relied on her own creativity. She is constantly looking for her next painting in everything around her. Susan says the character of her work is not influenced by any one artist or style. But, when she views a work of art from another artist and it speaks to her or she feels a deep connection with the piece, then she can appreciate the work the artist has put into creating it. Susan paints and exhibits widely.
She is a member, and committee member, of the Contemporary Art Society of Victoria. She is also a member of Whitehorse Arts Association and an art tutor, teaching at the Nunawading Community Hub. She regularly exhibits at the Alcove biannual exhibitions at Box Hill Community Arts Centre.
