Dianne works with watercolour, acrylics, mixed media and pencils. As a child and young adult, she enrolled in art classes at the Adelaide Art College. This motivated her to complete an Art and Craft Certificate from Adelaide Hills College of TAFE.
Dianne’s artistic focus has changed over the years. She found that vineyards dominated her work when she lived in the Barossa Valley South Australia, where she owned her own gallery. Then a move to Aireys Inlet in Victoria and a close association with the Eagle’s Nest Gallery resulted in many pieces featuring the famous lighthouse.
However, inspiration for developing paintings based on words, sayings, music and poetry has always been the backbone of Dianne’s work. She loves experimenting with different mediums, oil pastels, watercolour, acrylic and print.
Dianne has exhibited in galleries in South Australia and Victoria and many of her paintings have found homes throughout Australia and overseas. She also reproduces images of her works as gift cards and books.
